Submitting a Leave Request


You must activate your Employee Kiosk before being able to submit a leave request. If you need assistance on how to setup the mobile app, see the following article.

Please see the following instructions on how to submit a leave request via the CloudPayroll mobile app. 
 
  1. Once logged into the app click Add Leave.

Note: Leave requests differ between Apple and Android 

Apple

  1. Leave Type: Choose the leave type. 
  2. From Date: Choose the start date of the leave period. 
  3. To Date: Choose the last date of the leave period. 
  4. Hours: The hours for the date range chosen will auto generate, if you believe the calculated total hours are incorrect, please reach out to your payroll team before submitting the request.
  5. Reason: E.g. Doctors appointment, this window is optional. 
  6. Click Submit once you have entered the required information.

Apple

Android 

  1. Leave Type: Choose the leave type from the list. 
  2. From Date and To Date: Choose the period of leave by selecting the start and end date. 
  3. Hours: The hours for the date range chosen will auto generate, if you believe the calculated total hours are incorrect, please reach out to your payroll team before submitting the request.
  4. Reason: E.g. Doctors appointment, this window is optional. 
  5. Click Submit once you have entered the required information.
Android 

Note: Once you have submitted a leave request, it will sit in Pending status until it is approved. You will be able to edit it whilst it is in a Pending status but once it has been approved you will no longer be able to edit the request. Reach out to your payroll team if the request needs to be edited. 

Note: An email is automatically sent to your employer or a leave approver with the details of your leave request. After they have reviewed and approved, or declined, your leave request, you will receive an email notification from CloudPayroll.
  1. Go to the menu then "Leaveand select the submenu "Requests".
